Soft, top quality caulking cotton made up of eight strands totalling an uncompressed diameter of approximately 8mm. 
Used for the caulking and re-caulking of wooden carvel planked classic boats and new build wooden yachts. 
The caulking is often pushed in to place with a caulking iron, in turn, hammered by a caulking mallet. 
Caulking cotton is sold by weight and is available in half kilo bales.
